As it is now, I typically always purchase the economy fare on Frontier, because as a Summit, I have always been able to get into the STRETCH product. However, if they went to a two row 2 x 2 product, I would gladly pay much more at the time of booking to get into those seats.
As much as I don't care for United, that is the one thing I miss about my 1K status... First Class upgrades on virtually every flight.

I've sat in stretch and the regular seats on the 319. I usually buy the stretch because I'm 6'5" but I have had an aisle seat in the regular seats and it's quite frankly not that uncomfortable.

All my STRETCH experience has been on nonstop flights. STRETCH is sold on a 'per segment' basis, but what if the flight is routed as below and my ticket shows SEA-CUN?
F9 #38 SEA-DEN-CUN
Will SEA agents charge me 2x the STRETCH fee?

If it's sold as a "through flight" or a "direct flight" there is ONE fee (even if they change aircraft in DEN).

11A and 11F have massive leg room with no 10A or 10F in front. The downsides are these:
(1) Your TV is far ahead of you (on the back of 9A or 9F) and hard to see
(2) If you put carry ons under the seat in front of you they are harder to get because they are so far away.
(3) Because they serve front to back, if this is a food flight you run the risk of the food being sold out.
11A and 11F have much more leg room than Stretch, so if that's your main goal, I'd take it over Stretch.

Sorry if this isn't the best thread for my question, but I'm a newbie to Frontier and this is all that really came up relevant in a search.
I'm scheduled to take my first trip in a couple weeks, on an A319. I've got a Classic Plus fare, since it was the same price as the cheapest Economy fare (which I thought was odd, but whatever).
I'm trying to decide between exit row and Stretch, and the seat map I see on the Frontier website is totally different than what I see on both Seatguru and Seatexpert. Both the seats sites show the exit row as row 10 (same as Frontier), but it also shows those rows as not having 10A or 10F, whereas the Frontier site shows all 6 seats in row 10. Both seats sites call the rest of 10 a bad seat, but row 11 as being great seats, with more legroom. Which makes no sense to me if 10 is actually the exit row. And if 10A and 10F actually exist, which the Frontier website says they do since I can select them, then I'm guessing I don't really want 11A or 11F as suggested above.
So, the question is, on an A319, do I want something like 10C or 10D, or do I just want to pick a seat up in Stretch? As you can tell, it's the legroom I'm interested in.

Hey guys just a quick question. My dad is having knee surgery and we will be driving cross-country beforehand. Well, once we get there I am going to have to fly my dad home. I was just wondering if any of you could tell me if buying the "Classic Plus" option is worth it. I just want him to be able to have some extra room. He is 6'7 to begin with, I just want him to be comfortable after driving cross country with/for me! Thanks in advance

If you want to guarantee your Dad up to an additional five inches of legroom, then yes, Classic Plus is worth it. Other goodies include priority access at check-in, security, and boarding, so that he doesn't have to wait in line with all of the masses. Plus, the fare also includes a beer, glass of wine, or cocktail too.

Depending on your itinerary, and your interest in the CP extras, that may be a more economical option.

Classic Plus
Is this always available? or just first come first serve basis? I am all for saving money, but I pretty much need this guaranteed. Thanks!
