Interesting. I never knew that.

This will bring with it some exciting new opportunities!

As a note there is a wiki about upgrades in this forum where you can find this information: The Big UPGRADE Thread – all you need to know about AY upgrades

BMW ride today from gate 31E all the way to Backasvägen (really far away stand for the A320 to BUD
At the gate I spotted the car and asked the gate agent if it was for me - she said yes and asked if I had company.
Then she escorted both of us to the car - quite a few pax looking “who on earth are they?”

Good for you. I had a stand arrival around 4pm today. No BMW.

I have a transfer at HEL tomorrow for ATR with Mrs. napapiiri and junior. Maybe we will get to try the BMW service.

Not very satisfied on Saturday - arrived at a remote stand with GetJet from PRG - BMW nowhere to be seen (well actually both of them were parked near the 2A bus drop off point) and luggage took almost half an hour to deliver. Oh and my priority tag, which obviously didn't really work was a Star Alliance one :-o

Doesn't sound like a very nice experience. I'm flying this GetNoJet on Thursday and I was prepared to have a tired plane with old seats. Is CC from AY or outsourced?

Cabin Crew was AY. For some reason they kept reminding people to take off their headphones for take off and landing, must be a GetJet rule as that's never happened to me with AY ever since the electronics rule was changed years ago. The purser warmed up after the Hesari incident (I guess she hadn't taken a look at the manifest) so it wasn't too bad.

Cockpit crew was Lithuanian and in the usual style kept quiet until the "10 minutes to landing announcement".

The seats are the same Recaros that AY has, faux leather though. They're not old, but missing the lower seat pocket. Legroom seemed to be a bit less than AY (was on 4A), and with a completely packed flight (there were dozens of Japanese pax connecting to FUK on the flight!) it wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

Interesting chit-chat with the purser the other day before landing. She said that I was the first Lumo she has flown with and her sister (also FA) have seen also only 1 or 2. She said that I must fly more than she does (denied, clearly not the case) and mentioned that this whole Lumo thing is very big/important within AY. She seemed to have been really well briefed on it. She even said that it's thanks to us (frequent flyers, I think she meant) that their salaries got paid.

Finally after waiting AY's IT to do it's "magic" and flights posted I got my Lumo today. 150 flights in just under 7months...can't really recommend this for anyone.
