450k is just out of my reach (especially X amount with AY). with OW small network (destinations), i rather have a gold at star or Skyteam.

I had a tip that if You are already flown 150000 points or 76 segments and updated app then those limits are visible.

I see the next tier (LUMO), but it lists the requirement for points/flights as zero.

Okay, that was the iPhone app. The Android app shows the requirements right.

I'm happy the limits are super high. It means very few people will reach Lumo, which in turn should mean that we Plats are safe with our benefits.

Just made it to Platinum in four months flying only in Y - so this should be simple...not

It would mean to continue too intense flying pattern also next eights months and also require emptying award point balance to get enough tier points. For a result-oriented FF these kind of new targets are dangerous, one could say irresponsible!

So that's 9 long-haul round-trips in J yearly on an ongoing basis (i.e. with Platinum status), if starting from Western Euripe. Well, I guess some executives do fly business class that much.

that’s less than 1 trip a month. Not at all unusual in my (American) company. Fortunately not required of me though.

Intrestingly enough it says in the segment meter that 100/150 segments must be AY and not other OW carriers like the other tiers.

Now what will count as an AY flight, both metal and code or just one or the other is enough?
