QantasLink is an oneworld affiliate according to
https://www.oneworld.com/member-airl...ine-affiliates
so yes it should be like a norra flight.

This is not a valid explanation for all cases. If QF codeshares with a non-OW partner, like Etihad, then for those flights you will not earn AY points even if you buy a QF ticket. It needs to be OW-marketed and operated.

That would be my explanation aswell. It is important to know if the flight operator is OW member or affiliate as otherwise all bets are off.

Ah yes, I'm sorry. I'm always forgetting how it works... Apparently you get AY+ points from AY-marketed flights regardless of carrier but on OW-marketed flights only if they are also operated by OW?

QF-coded JetConnect flights earn to AY+ as normal Qantas flights, so I guess QantasLink is the same. On the other hand, JetStar does NOT earn to AY+, unless purchased with AY code.
I don't know about QF code on EK but I guess it does not work either. Actually, I'd like to know.

Interesting to hear!
A slightly odd and generous arrangement, isn't it? I mean no OW rule forces BAEC to do so. Also, the QF/EK co-operation is in direct competition with BA after the shake-up on the kangaroo route few years back, me thinks.

Does anybody have experience on lounge access policy for "1 guest + member’s own children under 18 years". This page gives detailed lounge policy but couldn't figure out if "1 guest + own children" lounge access is only at Helsinki airport or Finnair lounge around the world. I suppose it also needs flying on AY code.
