Is there some way to look up what codeshare flights AY has?
Like there are many to Australia from Asia, but are there any over Pacific like DFW-SYD or LAX-SYD? Trial and error on this IT system is not my idea of fun.

And another question, looking at some business flex flights that include LAX-ORD/JFK/MIA on AA.
AY engine wants to put in Y on these flights, when looking from AA site these have domestic 3 class F/J/Y and availability in J. Can this be sorted with CS or stuck with Y?

Are overlapping bookings allowed?

i’m thinking of booking an additional eco flex ticket to Cambodia in case Thailand closes down in March. Dates would be the exact same. Just don’t want to get in trouble (eg them automatically canceling a flight) as it means I’ll have two bookings under the same name, with even some overlap in flights….

i can then cancel either one of the two a couple of days before flying

I currently have and have had in the past overlapping bookings. Those have not triggered anything.

Assuming you were thinking of flying through HKG the administration today announced a transit ban until Feb 14. This of course is earlier than March but it might be something to consider.

If you intend to take the exact same flight, and thus have two seats booked on the flight, for just one pax, it probably will cause problems.

If it's not the same flight, you should be okay. Back when European returns were cheaper than one-ways, I often booked nested tickets and made other trips during the time when I was supposed to be at XXX without any problems.

I'd say book the other ticket one day before or after your original ticket.

I cancelled a flight flight in Dec21 using the chat bot. The bot said something along the lines ”my human colleague will process the refund soon” took about 1,5weeks to 2 weeks to get the refund.

Has the 300k tier points gift been enhanced?

I just noticed that I haven't received any emails or notifications, and finnairshop shows nothing new, and it's already been quite a while since I got 300k.

I just asked about this via WA. It should still exist. He promised to get back to me by email. I'll let you know!

Okay, here's the answer.

200k gift = 40k points or scarf. I chose the points, and they were posted instantly. Only these two options were available.

Also 300k gift exists, don't know what it is but I'd assume it's at least the same.

When I purchased 400k award points, I was supposed to get 100k tier points, but got 150k by mistake (as did many others). This resulted in 315k tier points and no gifts. When I asked, they noticed the mistake, rectified it (I now have 266k tier points) and opened the 200k gift for me.

All is well that ends well. For me, those extra 50k tier points by mistake were worth 0 while the 40k award points are of value.
