Safe - Immediate turnaround is easy, i.e. according to experience it is possible to reach departure gate quickly and without extra security check when doing same plane turnaround.
Intermediate - Immediate turnaround is doable, but requires e.g. extra security check.
Risky - Immediate turnaround not recommended. (See notes.)

TO KEEP THE WIKI AS COHERENT AS POSSIBLE, PLEASE USE "SAFE", "INTERMEDIATE" OR "RISKY" APPROPRIATELY! (I.e. no "Safe" for stations that require any kind of security or transfer check, not to mention going landside, etc.)

Immediate turnaround information for European AY destinations:

ACE: ?
AGP: Safe (Arrivals pour directly to departure gate.) Details here from August 2022

KTT: ?
KUO: Intermediate (Exit via baggage claim and reclear security, but should be doable if you exit among the first from the inbound flight.)
LHR: Intermediate (Need to go via Flight Connections to reclear security, which may take time depending on the time of the day.)

NAP: ?
NCE: ?
OSL: Safe / Intermediate (D gates pours directly to departures. E gates also pours to departure gate, follow transit arrow, automatic gate door will open during "normal" hours. VRN: ?
WAW: Safe (Arrivals pour to departure gate.)
ZRH: Safe (When exiting the bridge, you are under the gates and there are inclined speedwalks that bring back to the gates upstairs.)

Immediate turnaround information for selected longhaul AY destinations:

DEL: Intermediate (There's plenty of time for the obligatory visit to the transit desk and security. However, you'll need a self-printed visa confirmation to show the gate agent at HEL.)
DOH: ?
DXB: Intermediate (Follow "connections" to security downstairs and after that go to transfer desk if needed.)
JFK: Intermediate (Generous time with the new schedule, but you'll need to clear US immigration so ESTA or visa is needed.)
NRT: Intermediate (OLCI and mobile BP works, no need to go landside. There's transfer security, though.)

I'm trying to book a same plane turn at ARN for next week, but the Finnair website won't allow it. Any tips, or do I just need to book two one-ways?

Did you try OTA (third party booking sites)?

You may have run into a case where ticket is within MCT but still ay.com won't allow it. But other booking engines are better with implementing finnair booking rules. I've had success with rcg.se

You can try e.g. Expedia. But probably it is cheapest to buy 2 return tickets and do cross ticketing.

Quick update: I did exactly as suggested and booked on Expedia instead. Hilariously easy turnaround at ARN T2 - off the plane, coffee from Starbucks, back on the plane.

Thanks for the help!

What would be the cheapest and then fastest/least hassle (least flying time, 1 turnaround flight preferred) option to get ~3000 tier points? Anytime between now and end April...

HEL-AMS-HEL on 06APR19 250€. HEL-AMS in Value and AMS-HEL Basic = 3000 points even with Basic status.
Same plane turnaround AY1301/1302.

HEL-TLL-HEL on PRO tickets should get you 3k. I've never done this, but I _think_ you can do a same plane turn around. Done and dusted in around 2h.
Not cheap though, but really fast.

Avoid same plane turnaround in TLL or be ready to change your Y ticket very fast after landing in TLL when ATR using stand, check in already closed and TLL-HEL pax waiting in the bus to get on board ATR.

Yes, this is so annoying. They now use this relatively new stand north of the terminal pier (stand M3) which includes a bus transfer.

Thanks for those options! Hadn't thought about different legs in different classes (Amsterdam); is that easy to book? (or is it 2 returns and drop the home legs on each?)

You can easily book the Amsterdam turnaround for 250EUR on 06APR19 on Finnair.com choosing Value for one way and Light for one way (or vice versa, whichever leg you prefer to have the bag for).

ARN is safe
WAW no experience
AMS very safe
TXL not safe! Almost missed my flight.
OSL depends on time of the day, security check IIRC, not the safest
CPH safe, you just turn around like in AMS
BUD very safe, just like CPH&AMS.
