I didn't read the link, but it's gotta be that she transferred his MR to her Delta account.
DeNiro's lawyers should hire me as an expert witness to explain this to them and the court and to properly value the miles.

How dare you challenge the journalistic excellence?!
In addition to blogging about his miles and points obsession, he co-founded InsideFlyer.com, a place for frequent flyers to meet and learn using the latest technology.
He’s been called an “Air Genius” and “an airline industry brainiac, who you might think of as the Nate Silver of his domain.” He has also been called “sagacious” by legendary business travel writer Joe Brancatelli and “the godfather of the [frequent flyer] hobby” in Rolling Stone. Ron Lieber in the New York Times describes him as “a travel industry blogger with a specialty in spanking companies that devalue their loyalty programs” and says that his “trenchant blogging about the airline industry gives some executives fits.” Yahoo! Travel declared, “This guy knows points.”
Gary serves as Chair of the Nominations Committee and emcee for the Freddie Awards and was named one of the world’s top travel specialists by Conde Nast for his award booking service, BookYourAward.com (2010-Present).

AA will no longer require flight crews to be tested for covid before working on planes and in airports.

They aren't required to be vaccinated either.

That’s The Jerry Springer Show aspect of VFTW.
Yes and yes. And yet I barely ever care to check out TPG. VFTW is more my cup of tea than TPG, but it’s not because of VFTW’s frequent tabloid-like plays.

We all know that Gary is his own worst proofreader/copy editor. But this article is so full of typos that not only is it hard to comprehend it actually implies the opposite of what happened. (No where I think he means now). The link is to the comments where most readers are pleading for a copy editor.

Jerry Springer made moolah by giving the audience viewer-bait. VFTW is just giving the audience what the audience wants -- whether the audience knows it or not.

I dont have a staff. I write everything myself and have only had about half a dozen guest posts over the course of 20 years, usually a unique experience or perspective. That means I also have no editor and nobody to bounce things off of. I
After more than five years of blogging I was making $250 a month from the site. It wasnt long after that I was making $750 a month. Im very fortunate to have done well since then, but it began simply as a labor of love and stayed that way for years. And in doing well Im better able to remain independent in my coverage of airlines and hotels, since I dont rely on them for access or income.
I make money through several ventures outside of this blog, so I dont need to do anything Im not comfortable with to earn a living. Instead I just keep spouting off (as some of you would say) and if people are interested theyll keep reading it, and fortunately people have and thats the main reason Im compensated for the work I do here.
