This takes the cake as the worst post of the year. Really?! |

I am only a bit worried that the poor guy will now have 47,000 postcards to write! |

The mail-in promotion a good deal even if one only gets the minimum "prize" on each entry. Lots of people, including me, are doing this and VFTW is hardly the first blogger to write about it. There is an FT thread about the promotion in the IHG forum. |

Reminds me of the movie Real Genius.

I think the blog article is brilliant, and accomplishes exactly what the frequent flyer community is about. |

I'm not sure if members on the forum are just reading the title and formulating an opinion without reading the actual article. You think that's great? Hiring people to abuse a great promotion. |
Well, it depends on your PoV. beaubo was proud to hire Thai day laborers to fly TG domestic in the golden triangle for accumulating miles and was questioned by the DEA about it. Nothing was illegal about it... I'm not saying paying people to write the cards for you is ethical, but it just depends on your POV.:o

Just as we're all obsessed with miles & points, there are "sweepstakes fanatics" - my good friend's mother is one. There are forums, tips, strategies, etc. Services for writing out mail-in entries are sometimes used by these enthusiasts. All it does is increase one's out-of-pocket costs for entering. I'm not hiring anyone to write mine but my wife and daughter are assisting. |
I'm wondering if the guy will be able to handle the work load. The reach of Gary's blog is monsterous and he probably has, at a minimum, 100 orders already. Honestly I would have considered this service but again, I think the guy will be stretched very, very thin as is.

Gary has become a charade of himself. An ...-clown Before he comments on this stuff from a "thought leader"-y perspective, he should learn the difference between the DC Circuit and Appeals court for the Federal Circuit. |
