Not saying that these are not drinkable. But compared with other routes, I do not find these offers to be outstanding. I am for example also on flights to DUS and from HAM. They have much better offers, but unfortunately I do not sit in the right cabin class on those flights.
To/from AKL early April and middle of April:
Chateau Bouscaut Blanc, Pessac-Léognan 2011
Tolpuddle Chardonnay 2015
Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion 1996
Domaine des Monts Luisants Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru 2011
Auntsfield Heritage Pinot Noir 2012
Chateau Guiraud 2005
To/from CMB:h
Chateau Cos d'Estournel Blanc 2011 (this one I am happy about)
Paul Jaboulet Aîné Condrieu Les Cassines 2016
Chateau Léoville-Poyferré Saint-Julien 2007
Savaterre Shiraz 2013

Doubly wonderful since it's the last wine I've tasted since moving to a dry country.... don't they usually hand out coins for going this long without a tipples?

This was still here back on March 4th - one partial open and left on the bar. Enough for a small glass for Mrs. Dirty and myself. It was wonderful.

You'll need to collect a few coins to buy this one, around AED 950!

I've got really poor options coming my way in J and F on ULH routes this month. In J only one red (M. Chapoutier Domaine Tournon Shay's Flat Shiraz 2014). What is going on?

I remember my first EK J flight, it was Langoa Barton 2007... and that stuck around for a while over a few months. Stunning wine - I think 2007 was a seriously underrated year for Bordeaux. I bought a bottle with my own money recently and had it at a Brazilian steakhouse. Lamb chops + bordeaux = omg.

There are always at least two red and the online wine lists aren't always accurate - so don't give up hope 🤞
