If it's the Dubai Mall/Mall of the Emirates, the cost of the taxi there and back wouldn't be that far off the taxi from either oe of them to Abu Dhabi :)

PS... we're heading out to Dubai again on boxing day. £960 for QR J was too hard to resist. :) Going to Meydan on the Thursday.

We're on ek18 on Tuesday. Bubbilicous for New Year's Eve - watching united at Barasti first if you fancy?

Heading home on NYE. Only a quick few days of sunshine.

I'm looking on the website where I can book the chauffeur.
I click on "Manage Booking" link, it finds my booking. That's as far as I can get....unless I'm blind?

I did find the link https://www.emirates.com/us/english/...eur-drive.aspx
This link doesn't give me much.

I did book my award flight back in July 2016.

Any tips on how to get to where I need to go to book online? Or do I just call?

Is your ticket in J or F? Which route is it? Was it booked using partner miles, if so which?

Under MMB it should be near the bottom and would say something like "0 of 2 cars booked" and an option to book them.

Some routes, such as HKK-BKG or trans-tasman, unless part of a longer itinerary, do not qualify, nor do some partner awards, e.g. AS and I think JL.

Location : LAX

Type : Award

I'm guessing an AS award? If so, then no chauffeur unfortunately.

I read that if you booked your flight before August then it would still be honored

LAX-DXB - business class - booked with AS miles back in July.

Are you mixing up your EY flight on AA miles, bought in July, with your EK flight on AS miles, also bought in July? You seem to have had success on the other one.

EY = Etihad?
EK = Emirates?

I used Alaska miles to book the Emirates flight.

and Yes, I did have success with the Etihad question on that thread.

Define success to a question? You got an answer here, too, didn't you? I'd say that's success :D

Will EK allow my friend to join me in my chauffeur service at DXB?. (Friend is also flying in EK J but is purchased via JAL and is therefore not eligible for chauffeur service).

DYKWIA Jan 18, 2017 8:59 am

Yes - no problem.

yupyup63 Jan 22, 2017 9:26 pm

"F" booked thru JAL is the same as AS which Im assuming doesn't have any Chauffeur service?
