Was indeed a typo, I probably got it confused with GLA which says the same figures, but in miles instead of KM's. Thanks for pointing it out, corrected now. :)

DXB Stopover
 
So i just learnt of a new enhancement to EK Chauffeur drive service. No more entitlement on DXB stopovers??? I tried to book a car on my 18 hour Dubai stopover but am told that I'm not eligible as it has to exceed 24 hours. This was never the case before !!!

Never heard. Maybe try again? Otherwise do a go-show on arrival and let them book the return directly

Define stopover. No Dubai Connect? Sounds like an extended transit to me. Stopover is >24h

Tried twice, second time was on the phone for 20 minutes and the agent was also surprised but he said the system keeps rejecting the request as the ticket doesn't allow CD in DXB for stopovers less than 24 hours

Well you can't have your cake and eat it. I don't think this is a new rule, is it? Long transit and want to see the city and expect EK to foot the bill for your transport downtown? I don't think this is an unreasonable "enhancement" from EK. They already allow free stopovers in DXB with CD which is pretty nice.

Are stopovers 24h+ (in theory) allowed on your leg where you do want the CD?

Chauffeur Service - 2 traveling in Business, one in economy
 
Will be flying from LAX to DEL then from DEL to DXB and then eventually DXB to LAX.

Two members of my party are flying business, one is flying economy. We all booked our tickets separately. Given that two of us are flying business, will they allow the third passenger flying in economy class to tag along when the chauffeur service picks the other two to drop off at LAX, then drop off at hotel in DEL, pick up from hotel in DEL, then drop off at hotel in DXB, pick up from hotel in DXB, and then drop off at home at LAX?

Up to the driver but I've never had a problem when doing this.

Usually leave a nice tip though :)
