Good to see that the 4 chauffeur reservations that I booked in Feb for a November flight have now reappeared on Manage My Booking this morning.

Does anyone know if the resumption of flights this week has seen Chauffeur Drive returning also?
Eg, i note DUB started again yesterday, but was CD provided?

I was informed it has been restarted in dxb

CD booking is still greyed out on the EK app for a flight on the 4th of July, but it showed up today on the desktop version of MMB.

Probably worth a call to EK reservations if you have a booking you are unsure about

Not sure if its temporary because of the pandemic or a new permanent change, but looks like EK changed the chauffeur drive provider at JFK to Blacklane. For the past few years it was provided by Addison Lee Group, and prior to that Boston Coach for many years.

Probably permanent, they have already switched to Blacklane in India and a few European destinations.

I dont use CDD CDA often, do you as a customer notice any difference? Car quality for example?

Can't comment on anything other than LHR/LGW or DXB. It's almost always a fairly new E-Class in London, the car is always clean and the drivers are very polite.

DXB is very consistent with the 5 Series estate, but occasionally they do send the S-Class with the 'First Class' branding even though I never fly in F. No complaints with either, drivers are great, and because of COVID, the cars are exceptionally clean as well.

The only gripe I have with the 5 Series in DXB sometimes, is the trunk space. I rarely travel with a lot luggage, but whenever I do, it never fits in the trunk. This is something I've discussed with the drivers as well, who said that the Volvo V70's that EK used to have for CD in Dubai had more luggage space in the back.

It looks like Chaufeur drive is still not offered from many destinations including GVA and ZRH in Switzerland.

On my last flight from HYD (Hyderabad, India) to ORD in business (August 2019), I was given a 5 series at HYD and a Mercedes S Class at ORD. The change at HYD will be reflected across all routes in India because of a partnership with blacklane.

But unfortunately it looks like they're still not offering CD in HYD again yet (and maybe all of India, not sure though)

They have suspended it in India because of COVID, expecting them to start again in a couple of months but not really sure
