What's the difference bet. the J and F CD? I've booked my CD while on J but now I got upgraded to F. Just curious 🙂

In other places there may sometimes be no difference. In AMS I have had an S class in J twice ‘because of the distance’ (it was a 120Km trip). Last time a 60 Km trip in also S class but I was in F. There certainly is no ‘promise’ about a better car, so don’t get too hung up on this. |
Dumb question: Do you tip the CD?

How much would be an appropriate tip for an EK chauffer in the US and Dubai? A regular taxi driver in the US I usually give between $1-$5 depending on the length of ride and driver safety. I'm assuming it would be more since it is a "specialty" ride.

Do not tip outside the US
I always tip the CD in Dubai as well, usually 40-50AED. Drivers are always very appreciative |

Not that simple. In india for example it is expected.

Drivers are always very appreciative I know India well, and whilst it is survival of the fittest and everyone will do what it takes to get the best deal, I think calling a tip “expected” strange. I don’t think many local Delhi or Mumbai residents are handing out tips to drivers. |

Do you tip bus drivers, or train drivers? |

Why?
Do you tip bus drivers, or train drivers? I do have some sympathy to do so in the US, as you guys probably even tip your children when they say thank you, but anywhere else in the world - JUST STOP. |
