Shocking - definitely complain to EK, and hopefully when it comes to re-tendering the CD contract it’s taken into account!

I flew to JFK today business from DXB on EK 203 - the Emirates chauffeur service is being provided by “Blacklane” and you’re required to download their app.
The booking gives you one hour from the time the plane lands to get into the limo. Here’s the problem: immigration took ninety minutes to get through. When I finally reached arrivals, the Emirates rep said my car had been cancelled and I’d have to wait at least an hour for another one. This feels like a less than premium experience (understatement after a fourteen hour flight) and surely they know by now it’s rare to get through T4 immigration in less than 55 minutes. Etihad next time for me - at least you can get pre-clearance at AUH. |

Hi All,
Normally fly with EK but booked on QF codeshare as EK have raised prices significantly in the last two weeks and QF haven’t. When travelling EK first on a QF first ticket are you able to avail of chauffeur drive? Many thanks in advance |

Long lines at the luggage claim and the driver wouldn't wait, the supervisor came in and told me that the driver can't wait any longer. When I left I saw the supervisor just waiting time. I had no cash on me and went all the CDG to find an ATM. Just a horrible experience. And yes first world headache. |
Arrived yesterday in Brisbane and chauffeur service is basically Emirates paying you a normal cab.
We used to get black limo with driver in black suit. Now it's some random Toyota and local cab driver. |
Anyone know how I can contact the Chauffeur drive service in India to indicate a larger # of bags?

otherwise, contact Emirates and ask for a « large car » prior to your departure so the booking can be edited. |

If your email was correctly entered in your Manage My Booking on the Emirates website, you will receive your confirmation email as soon as Blacklane place the booking and then a bit later a TypeForm survey to indicate if you need a larger car (check your spam folder as well, it can lands here). Otherwise, if you already communicated to EK that you need a larger car, a larger car will be booked automatically. |

Hi there,
I've received a Qantas ticket on Emirates flights. I can't seem to find the link to reserve a chauffeur for my flights. Does that happen often? Even though the ticket is bought with Qantas, shouldn't I receive the chauffeur drive since it's a normal Business class booking on Emirates flights? Can't seem to find an e-mail address to e-mail to. If anybody has that? thanks. |
"Qantas codeshare flights operated by Emirates (with a QF flight number) between Asia and Australia/New Zealand are not eligible for our Chauffeur‑drive service. If a customer would like to request Chauffeur‑drive for flights between Asia and Australia/New Zealand, they must be booked on an Emirates operated flight (with an EK flight number)."

Anyone else having issues with Blacklane CD?
1. Arrived into FRA last week in F and received a CD booking confirmation a day before, stating “Business sedan”. Live chat with EK confirmed a “First car” was booked. On arrival at FRA, received another confirmation from Blacklane that my CD was waiting in a “Business sedan” - which is what I got. 2. Trying to get the Blacklane App to work (using the same user info as on EK/the booking) - doesn’t work. Constant error messages and being asked to try again later. What a pain. Never had any issues with Sixt who used to provide CD in Germany. |
