A couple of bits of fleet news:
A6-EDP underwent a test flight today as EK2646 - looks like it's close to re-entering service having not flown since returning from DWC on 13th May
A6-EVH has positioned to Chengdu for maintenance. Believe it's visiting Airbus's hangars there?

EK B777: Window faux wood trims of A6-EB* and A6-EC*
Hello everyone
I'm an absolute fan of the different EK business class cabin designs of their 777. When searching the web I noticed that the oldest 777 A6-EBU and EBM seem to have the wide wood trims around the windows plus electric window blind.
The slightly less old A6-ECA,ECE...ECK seem to have the narrow wood trim and manual window blind. Allthough: I found images of ECF and ECG with wide wood trim and electric window blind. Could be mistakes?
Then again, A6-ECO to ECZ and newer seem to have the wide wood trims plus electric window blind (the design I like most, contrary to most other peoples taste I guess).
Does anyone have a complete list? I saw an excellent spreadsheet already, with details about the different seats in business class. It's even up to date which is outstanding. Excellent job!!
I tried to post this with images earlier, but as I am a "newbie", probably that has been rejected due to the links.
Sorry for possible language inaccuracies.
Any hints would be appreciated.

When will the Starlink-Upgrade be added to the Google Doc?

Have any planes already gotten Starlink at Emirates?

Some of the EB* series were originally delivered with manual blinds and then retrofitted once they were reconfigured from the older 12F layout in the early 2010s. There were some exceptions to this as well, like EBW which still had manual blinds till retirement in 2024.

Appears I was slightly incorrect. The first converted 3-class (J/W/Y) A380 will be in service by mid-April. I would be on the look out for a 2-class frame going into the hangar around the beginning of Feb for a 5C check and retrofit. My guess is EOP may be the first frame.
Edit: I stand corrected.

A6-EUX hasnt flown since February 22nd. Worth keeping an eye on as that might be the first 2 class A380 to undergo its reconfiguration.
Also, A6-EXQ is now showing on Flightradar so looks like delivery is very close.

Almost the entire -300ER fleet has the wider wood trim and electric blinds on the windows, the only exceptions (as far as I know) are ECE, ECJ and ECK.

Thanks, your hint helped me to evaluate a bunch of youtube videos. I think I resolved the puzzle. In the videos I looked for shots of the inflight information system or the front gear, where the tail number is visible too. For the latter I took special care, that it really was the plane actually boarded.
Result:
Active planes:
Manual A6-ECA, CE to CK (8 planes)
Electric A6-EBM, BU, BY, CM, CO, CQ to CZ. EBV (retired?)
Retired, B series:
BB, BG, BL, BN, BQ all had electric blinds.
Retired, C series:
CB,CD,CL all manual. CN most likely electric, CP not found.
Summary
It looks like EBW (manual) was indeed an exception in the B-series.
In the C-series there's a pattern: ECA to ECL were manual (delivered till Dec. 2008) ECM to ECZ electric (delivered Jan. 09 or later).
Thanks for having guided me in the right direction.
