First of all, I wish everyone a safe return back home or to your destination.
Thanks, your hint helped me to evaluate a bunch of youtube videos. I think I resolved the puzzle. In the videos I looked for shots of the inflight information system or the front gear, where the tail number is visible too. For the latter I took special care, that it really was the plane actually boarded.

Result:
Active planes:
Manual A6-ECA, CE to CK (8 planes)
Electric A6-EBM, BU, BY, CM, CO, CQ to CZ. EBV (retired?)

Retired, B series:
BB, BG, BL, BN, BQ all had electric blinds.

Retired, C series:
CB,CD,CL all manual. CN most likely electric, CP not found.

Summary
It looks like EBW (manual) was indeed an exception in the B-series.
In the C-series there's a pattern: ECA to ECL were manual (delivered till Dec. 2008) ECM to ECZ electric (delivered Jan. 09 or later).

Thanks for having guided me in the right direction.
