Is this true?Is there any way I can change my date of travel without a charge as the date I am looking at is the same price as the date I am traveling on at the momment.

Thank you.
Normally EK charges for date changes.. depends on the country of issuing of the ticket and also if there are any corporate rates or fully flexible tickets..
In India its abt INR 2k per ticket, Austria - Eur 50 per ticket

Yes it is standard for UK issued tickets. You will pay the 75 per change irrespective of whether it is the same day diff flight or same flight diff day. Even if you a do a change then change ur mind and revert it back they will charge you twice.

Actually you are correct, it does direct you to Mumbai at times, now that you mention the ringtone. That being said, I usually call during US business hours. The NY-based agents are just great... arguably better than even the Gold desk.
