I wish they would 100% switch JFK. Now i have to decide between my 008- preferred time and. 006: preferred aircraft. Of course the 001- i mat be dead and buried before they switch that

Some new info concerning the 787
Another 787-9 has been ordered from leasing, while a 788 has been cancelled ,
seems like they are very happy with the 789.

Also ... all current operating 787 will have their engines replaced to Trent 1000 TEN by the end of the year (2018) I think two more a/c are left .
TEN are the new generation Trents that dont have the issues the other ones have. Also its the engines on the 787-10.
Now that we know that UA is putting the 78J on TLV, Im very confident we will see them in the LY fleet on a few years

It wouldn't surprise me if they end up swapping to the 789 for their few 788 orders, its a better plane and would obviously offer more commonality for swaps ...
