I guess you got the booby prize?

Why would a KFC run out of chicken?

Because they made a paltry order.

I've had KFC run out of "regular" chicken on me twice (two different locations). Could still order hot wings if I wanted chicken.

Your good citizen award is on its way.

The whole world is proud of you.

No maybe you can allow other people to eat what they like and give up the moral high ground.

Living in Indonesia for the last 3 years I've encounted a McDonalds with no hamburgers, a Pizza Hut with no Pizza and a Starbucks with no coffee.

I also had some local restaurants with no food at all.

I dont see any point to your post. The FTer you are responding to will probably live to 85 years but my best guess you dogs wont make it past 15 or whatever. My scrawny cat eats mostly local field mice and lizards and an occasional Costco cat food in the dry season (ie nil field mice).

The last time I went to KFC was when we were out of town for a baseball tournament and my son wanted to go. It was one of the buffet places...and well, it will be a long while before I do that again...but I do love KFC cole slaw

Generally speaking, I prefer the fried chicken "meals" from the grocery store if I'm going for greasy and convenient. Its cheaper, and the pieces of chicken are bigger.

I've had KFC run out of something I ordered. I got comped a bag of fries or something and waited the 10 minutes for more to cook.

A friend was in line at Taco Bell last year at lunchtime and a worker came out and yelled to the cars in line that they were closed. I don't know what they ran out of - hot water?

Generally I find the Fastfood chains taste better in Asian Countries and they have nicer alternatives (rice and Spaghetti dishes in KFC with chix)

I generally order just the breast strips instead of the normal pieces. I also get some serviettes and Press the meat to absorb as much oil as possible before eating it.

An occasion trip to KFC is nice. But I definitely don't recommed doing it too often (It is like drinking I guess)

I like it when I can goto a Gordon Ramsay restaurant one day and KFC the other.

There is one Taco Bell in Fairbanks, Alaska that's open 24 hours but shouldn't be. Every single time I went through their drive-thru late at night, they were out of both beans and something else (usually beef, cheese, or onions).

Seriously, beans? How does a Taco Bell run out of beans? Not only is it their most fundamental ingredient, it probably comes in cans and never goes bad, so they should have just filled a stock room with them! And it was literally every time, too, so shouldn't they know to place a slightly larger order the next week?

I got so tired of calling the national customer service line and receiving coupons good for free items (which I couldn't use, since they were always out) that I simply quit complaining...

There's no Costco up there... they have to send the #10 cans of refried beans via the Alaska Railroad

I have eaten there once too (not sure why... lots better eateries in FAI... )

I have been to a KFC buffet before (probably 15 years or so ago... a distant memory...) IIRC- it was an odd experience- and haven't been back to KFC since...

I am afraid you can't feed a family of four for 10 bucks at KFC anymore. I was at a clients facility recently and was invited to their monthly potluck dinner(lunch) I mentioned that I couldnt cook anything and they suggested a bucket of chicken from KFC. A 20 piece bucket was nearly 40 bucks !!!
