I usually pay 20 per kilo as you get a little bit of a discount for buying that quantity. I buy a caffeinated blend and a decaf blend as well as a couple of single origin coffees that the roasterys recommend, those come in the 250g bags as they're typically more expensive.
wait, thats a lot of coffee. How can one drink so much?

As to drinks, I'll have 3 mugs of cafeinatted coffee before lunch and same again in decaf after midday. I might swap the last mug or two of decaf coffee for decaf tea just for a change of pace.

So I have been slumming it for the past few days as Waitrose was selling Costa Coffee 400g bag for 3 quid which, for a semi decent coffee, is a steal. I haven't been putting it in the espresso maker but have instead been using it in my Bodum pour over coffee carafe. It's producing semi decent results and, because it's so cheap, I don't mind guzzling it.
