Agreed. Lisa seriously needs to leave. She seems to have no redeeming qualities.

Glad to see Dale gone. ^

I love Bourdain as a judge. He should replace Colicchio!

I'm rooting for Antonia, although I wouldn't be too disappointed if Richard won.

I watched a fair amount of the Memorial Day marathon, and came to a conclusion; Lisa has never cooked anything good besides the groom's wedding cake.

I think we're dealing with an instance where the producers are keeping her around for her controversial nature.

Butterscotch scallops are terrible sounding and Bourdain put it into words perfectly.

I think Dale should have gone the Thai route and done some sort of peanut sauce rather than butterscotch.

I really liked the idea of the gastro pub and they definitely delivered (Antonia, Richard, and Stephanie).

The only good thing about this season is Tom Imadickio. He's such a bear of a man.

Agree. Why oh why is she still there?

I am very suspicious of the whole judging thing, especially when its written in the program ending credits that the decisions are based in conjunction with the producers. Why is that even necessary?

I agree. I think they really want a woman to win this year. I hope that it is Stephanie. She seems talented and doesn't have the need to be mean or nasty.

I like her haircut in the scenes from next week in PR. Maybe it'll change her personality too.

Even Colicchio (in his blog) was surprised at the outcome of that episode.

I always read the show blogs, and Ted Allen has said numerous times that the producers have the right to affect the outcome, but have never invoked the privilege. He did however say that the editing is very purposeful.. and that they like having a "villain". So the clips we are seeing of Lisa are meant to portray her in a certain light.

Interesting what Ted Allen says on his blog. That's not what the closing credits say. It says very clearly that the final decision is made in conjunction with the producers. Maybe they have never invoked that privelige when Ted Allen was a judge.

And I'm not surprised to hear about the editing. Seems like all reality shows do that to some degree.

And thanks for the heads up about the blogs. I'm going to start reading them, even though it is late in the season.

The finale should be sweet, it's always fun watching incredibly gifted chefs with months of specific preparation put their best foot forward. I just hope Lisa crashes and burns...never really warmed up to her.

My guess is that it'll come down to Richard and Stephanie. Basically a push if you ask me.

I hate that Lisa is moving on. I've watched it three times now just to double check I didn't miss anything. Spike did mess up on the scallops big time but I wish he was still there.

He messed up when he insulted Rick Tramonto, as well.
