From the crab cakes to the Ruby Turkey Minis to the white chicken chilli, I can usually find something tasty.

And besides, I like the way food looks on white, square plates.
I like the square plates, too. We had a good experience recently with parents and the little ones. Parents liked the crab cakes, and the kids ate...everything. I was happy enough with the salad bar, which to me is plenty of raw veggies (hold the dressing)--edamame was a nice addition. Service was pleasant, though not speedy, but the menu had sufficient appeal for 4 generations, and the price more than reasonable. I would go again.

Had the smokehouse burger tonight. Of the national chains around here, this is the best one (went to Fridays last week...the people from Applebees were eating at the bar).

Applebees definitely has my pick for the worst service around. Theres three up here...all long waits, messy, rude servers etc. As for Ruby Tuesday, I don't mind it. I like the salad bar when it's fresh.

I hear what you are saying on the long waits. But if that's the case you would think they are doing something right.
