How do you folks like Ruby Tuesdays ? Only ate there one time & I loved the crab sandwich & baked potato. I'm headed back.

I like it...as a matter of fact...that's where we went for dinner tonight.

Good burgers and a pretty substantial salad bar. Prices are decent.

Decent salad bar, I like it better than Chili's, Bennigan's, or Applebees.

Me too, basically the only thing I order there except for an occasional burger.

The tilapia is great. They do have a large salad bar, but I stay away from those as there are often disgusting people too close to the food.

Their crabcakes are also delicious.

All national chain restaurants seem to serve the same food nowadays. They all are beginning to taste the same. Change the name a poof a new dish.

Friends don't let friends eat at Applebees

We were discussing that last night--Mr. Kipper and I were considering our options for dinner, and discussed that Applebees, TGI Fridays, and Ruby Tuesdays all didn't do anything for us, due to the similarities.

2 of my sons have worked there and I find little to like. The menu has gotten slimmer and less interesting. When they dropped sam adams from the tap, I never went back.

However, Mrs BamaVol and I were dining with friends at the original in Knoxville years back when they drunkenly revealed that their youngest daughter was conceived in the mens room there. So, I guess it's good for something.

I had one (prime burger) a couple of weeks ago on a trip to upstate NY. wasn't sure what to expect, but the burger was very good and it looked like the restaurant had been recently remodeled and was pretty nice for a chain. of those mentioned in other posts, this is definitely a step up. I'd go again...and have the same thing...

i suppose some locations are better than others. the one close to me in houston has consistently the worst service possible; they're slow, confused and always new. the management must be awful.

unfortunately, i really like the salad bar and--when i'm in the mood for meat--the bison burger, but mr kk refuses to go back to this one--and i can't blame him.

We used to eat at Applebee's all the time. I can't remember the last time we ate there, as the service and food quality have gone way downhill. We have a new Chili's in the last year, we haven't gone anywhere near it, either.

We eat at two of our locally owned restaurants more than anything else... a Mexican place and an Italian/sub place. I can't count the Chinese place, as the Mrs. doesn't do Chinese.

The one place we do want in our area is a Ruby Tuesdays. The city north of us (BKW) has one, the smaller area south of us (Wytheville) has one.
