The Million Dollar Question: Subway or Quiznos?

I've always been a subway guy, but some of the recent subs that Quiznos has come out with have been killer and awesome. Still, Subway is the way to go, especially given the higher than normal prices from Quiznos.

Quiznos all the way for me..... I first discovered it on a trip to California a couple of years ago and have been excited every time I've seen a new Q in the UK since then. The fillings are more plentiful and of better quality, particularly the hot ones.

Quiznos^

Quiznos for me. I only eat at subway if that is my only option.

Walk past Subway and Quizno's and head round the corner to my local Italian sandwich place, and have a chicken escalope, bacon, mozzarella and sweet chilli panini.

Depends on my mood. Quizno's has a little more personality in their menu, while Subway is pretty much a basic sandwich.

Quizno's has better sandwiches. The price difference can be eased by using their frequently published coupons.

You get what you pay for

The meats at Quiznos are hand sliced in-store to preserve freshness and taste. Subway's meats are shipped to the stores pre-sliced and pre-packaged.

When I'm home, Firehouse Subs. At the local plant, Subway, but not 'cause I have a choice. Quizno's occasionally.

I really hunger for a sub from Angelina's, back in my original hometown, of Pittsfield, Ma. ^

I've only eaten once at a Quiznos so will be interested in the consensus of opinion. Subway meat seems to be very low quality and I try to avoid it.

Usually eat at Subway (due to availability) - but both of them are awful hoagie joints. If you're ever in Philadelphia and are interested in tasting what these sandwiches SHOULD taste like, try Sarcone's or Lee's Hoagie.

Once you eat one from either place - you'll be a snob like me!

:D

I'll take Quizno's over Subway any day.

Subway. A friend's teenage son works at Quizno's and...well, it is too awful to speak of in public. May be hideous things at Subway, too, but at least I don't know about it from an insider, ignorance being bliss, as they say.

Subway sandwiches are better airplane food. Quiznos sandwiches may have fresher-cut meat, but they can get really overcomplicated, oversauced and soggy/mushy if you don't eat them right away.

Six of one or half a dozen of the other. I'd say whichever is closer.

However...anyone notice that smell coming out of most Subway stores? It's not really baking bread like at a proper bakery.
