I prefer quiznos but find myself eating at subway more often due to greater availability and convenience.

viva la sandwich.

I'd choose Subway over Quizno's.

I find Quizno's menu to be overwhelming, and when it come to toasted sandwiches, there are a handful of places in SF called Viking Subs, or King Sub, not sure if they are a chain, as there doesn't seem to be any common branding. anyway, they offer the best, toasted sandwiches in the city.

my favorite thing about Subway is getting black olives on my sandwich. kind of random, but i love it. their sandwiches seem to be less messy than quiznos, in general.

can't sign off before giving a shout out to Togo's. Still my favorite sandwich chain, hands down.

Quizno's.... I used to eat Subway all the time but after a while I just couldn't stand it anymore.

This was exactly the main reason I switched to Quizno's.

Meatball sandwich from Subways.

Rest from Quizno's. But I think Quizno's is overrated (at least when your only Quizno experience is the Quizno's at O'Hare in Terminal 1 at B concourse)

Subway - though they changed their Steak & Cheese steak a while back & I'm not a fan of the chunks of steak - whatever happened to the thinly sliced stuff? I do dig the Chipotle sauce though...I wish Wendy's would bring theirs back - it was really good...

However...anyone notice that smell coming out of most Subway stores? It's not really baking bread like at a proper bakery.

Quizno's, hands down, no questions asked. And you're RIGHT about that smell. I always notice the same thing at Subway and it's just too off for me.

I've never had Quizno's. Next time I'm hard up in an airport, I'll give them a try.

Regrets not having a Subway "Roast Lamb with Mint Sauce" while in New Zealand even though I don't really like lamb. Have any of you had it?

Of the two original choices, Quiznos is my favorite. For hot subs, the Firehouse Subs place is my favorite, and I like the cold subs from Publix grovery store, with Boar's Head meat and cheese.

Firehouse is the closest sub shop to my new job. I buy there for my staff when we work weekends. So far, steamer, hook and ladder and tuna have all been quite good. ^^^

Quizno's is a better product and the staff at our local shops are much friendlier than at subway.

LittleRedFlyer Dec 7, 2007 5:59 pm

If those are my only two choices, I'd have to say Quiznos. It beats Subway hands down. But if I'm really in the mood for a sub, I'd choose Blimpies or Tubbys above Quiznos everytime if there was one in the area.

FROM BEST TO WORST (all these are chains):

Jersey Mike's
Lenny's (hot relish gives it a kick)
Jimmy John's (especially the Gargantuan)
Firehouse
Quizno's
Subway
