Why would I want to mix my vodka with anything? If it doesn't taste good straight up, it isn't good.

Agreed. You mix gin in things to mask the taste, not vodka.

Stoli, U'luvka and Belvedere straight or with soda water. If I'm mixing with juice, I usually opt for flavored vodkas like Absolut Peach/Mango etc. or Smirnoff Blueberry/Green Apple etc.

I'm in Charleston for Thanksgiving and just discovered Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka. Yum! I wonder if I'll be able to find it at home in NYC.

I agree, this one combined with apple juice is pretty much the best vodka drink in the world. Nothing else comes close even...

I always liked Ciroc.

I just bought a bottle of Ciroc Red Berry, and it was wonderful. My new favorite when I want a flavored one.

I do too. Not many people drink it in MSP. I have yet to find an airline that serves it as well.

Grey Goose is my other favorite. Thankfully LX serves it.

Not a fan of Ciroc, it's mainly marketing (as with Grey Goose) plus I think any vodka company paying that much to P Diddy to represent the brand really should take a look at themselves

GG has added aromatics and I think all in all is about the best vodka along with Ketel One. Everyone has their preference and if I remembered the name of a certain 'local' creation I drank in Moscow I would mention that too

The worst? Absolut

In exchange for his endorsement, he and Diageo split profits 50/50.

In the first six months of 2007, before Diddy signed on, Diageo sold 60,000 cases of Ciroc. The following year, sales grew to approximately 169,000. In the full year ended June 2009, volume spiked to 400,000 cases. At the end of this year, they will increased cases sold 552% from that 60,000 case number.

Effen. Got into it a few years back when my vodka aficionado friend saw me trying to buy some grey goose for a housewarming party.

Stoly Gold, 1 1/2 bottles left
The old Kristal, SPI produced for the Soviet domestic market, had a je ne sais quoi as well.

Ciroc is for sissies.
