Before my transfer and promotion in Feb 2020, I used to eat at a Chipotle near my old store at least once a week. One of the staff was a former supervisor of mine at MIA for Supershuttle, and when she saw me entering the restaurant, she started to make my order before my turn as it was always the same. This was before I could order through the app. I think I have had Chipotle only once since then. There is a place near my current location called Waco Taco that has the same concept, and I find the quality to be much better, so I usually will have lunch there once a week if it is in the late afternoon.

I think I've had Chipotle twice since my last post. The store closest to my house is not very well run. Two weeks ago, there was a school fundraiser at the location, and they had to shut down the line two hours before closing because they ran out of ingredients.
On Monday... maybe it was the semi-new employee, or maybe Chipotle is saying so, but they were pretty skimpy on the portions (one burrito, two bowls, and a kid's meal). I should try the other location in town and compare.
While it's great they finally put quesadillas officially on the menu, it's annoying that it's an app exclusive.

Regardless, my double-wrapped sofritas burrito was tasty.

We needed a quick bite to eat after spending the morning at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. The Chipotle nearby hit the spot. They were generous with their portions in my burrito and the family's bowls; however, they did charge an extra quarter for the double-wrapped burrito.

Until Chipotle invests in a dedicated heated press for quesadillas (like Qdoba has), very few locations will want to make them.

Philadelphia police are searching for a woman who they say threatened workers with a gun, asked to speak with a manager and stole food inside a Chipotle after an employee announced they were closing early.

Anyone tried the brisket? As a lover of BBQ I am intrigued but kind of expecting a train wreck…

I had the plant-based chorizo the other day. I can't really say I tasted the chorizo except that there was some added spiciness to my burrito. Maybe I'll do a half sofritas/half chorizo going forward.

Had Chipotle twice recently. While on the go in Sarasota, FL, I tried the guajillo steak. It was very tasty, much better than the regular steak, but not sure if it's worth the higher cost compared to regular steak (and even higher cost compared to my usual sofritas).
Last night near home, I tried the chicken al pastor. I enjoyed the heat with a hint of sweetness that the regular chicken lacks. If they keep it on the regular menu, it would become my second choice if I don't feel like having sofritas.
That said, whenever given a choice, the kids will choose Qdoba over Chipotle 90% of the time.

For nachos or quesadilla, it's Qdoba 10 times out of 10. (pretty much because Chipotle doesn't even offer them)
For a burrito bowl, probably a toss-up. Slight lean towards Qdoba since they offer so many more ingredients.
