Never did actually "see" the bathroom........Sailing with my brother and dad, stopped in Vieques and found a small bar/restaurant to have a drink or two and something to eat. Fortunately, my brother was the first requiring use of the facilities, with alittle Spanish knowledge, we were told: "Down the hall, to the left, light broken". We have since figured out "Down the hall, FIRST left", down the hall second left was a 4 foot drop to the mud filled loading dock area. Needless to say, my brother came back to the table alittle mad and, well, looking like he was covered in ...... Gets mad everytime I tell the story.

I love India, but I think any bathrooms are pretty bad all round. I used to take my driver from anywhere in the city to the nearest 5 star hotel in order to go to the bathroom. Sometimes that would mean holding it for 1/2 hour. I honestly wouldn't use the public bathrooms for even a $100.00

Even though it's not a restaurant, my worst exp had to be a dive bar in Dallas during Texas-OU weekend: the "Across the Street" Bar.
The toilet and sink were both stopped up and overflowed, numerous cups were strewn about half filled with "lager beer" and my personal favorite: entire jumbo shrimp could be seen floating in the toilet.
... I think the 25c pitchers of beer had something to do with it.
At that point, I reasoned, noone would have noticed that I just opened the door and "played fireman."
