Depends on what type of bachelor party entertainment you're into--give a little more guidance and much assistance can be forthcoming.

Anything goes really. The usual sort of fun and games is useful to know about (ie strippers - I have read about a stretch hummer that you can hire full of minging strippers). Also interested in different / quirky bars (preferably with slutty birds) and restaurants/ clubs and things that are generally a little bit different. Only in town for two nights and two days (Friday night and a saturday night). Plan is to stay in Times Square. Any thoughts appreciated!!

"Minging"??

I had to look that one up and this is all I could come up with. None of them seem to quite fit, though.

"ming
Verb, infinitive; to ming.
Present continuative tense: minging
Simple present tense: mings.

1. to smell badly
2. to be drunk (usu. used in past tense)
3. to be generally distasteful

This word is widely used in the North of England and Scotland."

Is the groom-to-be good with these "plans"? Sounds a bit risky to me.

I'm a bit out of this loop, but the Whiskey Bar at the W on Lexington Ave. was quite the place a few years ago. I'm sure there's a more hip place today, though. You might want to post this on the NYC board.

What is the budget? That stretch hummer full of minging strippers will run quite a few thousand (closer to USD 5K than 1K), is that the kind of budget you had in mind? NYC is certainly the place for spending big, there is unlimited opportunity. I'd save some of that money for dinner at Le Bernardin (its seafood so might come in handy later). For the good bar scene you have to know someone in NYC, the better clubs/bars are unmarked, unlisted phones and don't take customers off the street. A couple of concierges can set you up (Peninsula can, for example) but most aren't that well connected. You'd have to plan ahead if you go this route though (but it is relatively cheap, for a couple of hundred you can have a great time).
