That would be a "Turkish toilet" (no offense to Turkey, that's just what they're called. If there's a more generic term for them, I've never heard it). There are lots of them in Paris--and in some surprisingly nice places. The one at Cremerie Polidor in the 6th arrondisement is a listed historical monument, I'm told...
