Those look good. I love peanut butter on apples &I am sure those would be yummy. They are a bit too pricey for me.
I’ll try the Fiji ginger almond butter in the future. I’ve already loved the coconut one. one day I’ll just buy Costco almond butter to compare :-) |

I prefer Safeway organic crunchy peanut butter more at $6.99 for a big jar compared to this peanut-pecan but I’m glad to have bought it. The chocolate almond butter is nice and not replicated elsewhere.

I wish a couple more of those jars were turned around. The peanut pecan looks good to me. The Fiji ginger less so. I would probably not even try the maple cinnamon.

I've tried plenty of those organic peanut butters and if I'm being completely honest none of them holds a match to Kraft.
there are too many peanut butter skus with sugar, Palm, or other weird ingredients; sometimes it’s because of “no stir” or “no refrigeration” also in USA I don’t recall Kraft having a peanut butter; JM Smuckers (formerly P&G) have most of the shelf space besides private label. I don’t even know if Unilever / Nestle carry a peanut butter. Also I didn’t know that peanut butter was popular in Australia. |

I am shocked that you don't buy your peanut butter at Costco. 2 huge jars of Skippy super chunk shrink wrapped together. I can't remember the price but it is often on sale and I am sure the 2 jars sell for what you are paying for one jar of store brand. Not organic but I don't care.

It's the reason I don't buy them...not only is it too sweet but why should there be sugar in peanut butter? Re: the Adam's PB, I guess Smucker gets you with the grape jelly. |

If it’s Kraft 100% peanuts plus salt, then sure I’ll agree. I don’t want any of the peanut butters unless it’s 100% peanut & salt. Plus crunchy.

No PB but finishing the second and last round of supposedly black angus burgers tonight.
Have some skin-on side pork that I will try to make lard rôti for lunch tomorrow (would have been for dinner but a friend is visiting). Bought a lot of marked-down side pork in the past week and 2 slabs/2 Kg are salting right in step 1 of being turned into pancetta. |

No Adams (Smucker brand) where you are? You can even get it in a nothing-added version.
. The only annoying thing about it is the need to stir. I always seem to make a mess. |

Never heard of Adams, but you can get a Smucker brand natural peanut butter with no sugar just about anywhere. I usually buy that or Teddie, the other widely available no-sugar brand.

I'm exhausted from working the polls yesterday and then working my full-time job today, so I finally gave in and ordered nachos through DoorDash.

Yesterday's lunch (and tonight's dinner). Lard rôti or roasted side pork belly. Been trying to figure how to make it since coming across it in Brittany 8 or so years ago. The French recipes I've been finding and using online (it seems largely unknown to the French who are not Bretons) haven;t worked too well if at all. Ended up using this recipe that ironically came from my local mainstream paper. With different spicing (apparently garlic and Chinese five spice), the cooking technique can be easily used for making Cantonese roast pork. |

Haven’t seen you mention ice cream in quite some time. Not eating it, or just leaving it off your lists?
Actually we are short on waffle cones.

Well , short version : the person getting the items from Shake Shack did not listen to instructions . We were supposed to have gone together , so after waiting 2 hours , I realised she had already bought them after trying to reach her . This was while I was elsewhere waiting for her as arranged .

Actually, Kraft sold it's Australian business (they also owned Vegemite) to Bega a few years ago. So it's Bega peanut butter now. There was a court case over the branding, which Bega made identical to the old Kraft logo probably because it has such strong brand recognition. Tastes exactly the same. https://www.theguardian.com/australi...-against-kraft |
