Homemade Fish-fragrant eggplant with a tad too much meat and too much laoganma sauce. Should go well with the fried rice I plan on making tomorrow.

BamaVol Jr #1 and spouse celebrated their 16th anniversary this past weekend. I sent him money to make dinner. He grilled ginger soy king salmon and made summer squash fried rice. There was also a bottle of Oregon Sauvignon Blanc (Capitello) and a peach pie from the farmers market. I’m posting since I paid for it. I’m not taking credit for his kitchen skills though. He cooked professionally for a number of years. |

I’ve had octopus before and wasn’t impressed. But this looks much more edible and interesting than what I was served. I think I’d be willing to taste everything in the pictures.

Grilled octopus is awesome as long as it is freshly grilled... One of the best places to try it is at a good Greek restaurant.
