Fresh turkey. It's what's for dinner? Nope. Too tough and full of lead, notwithstanding the fact that you delivered yourself to my doorstep.

Nope. You'll notice there aren't any tariff tax stamps on the birds. The birds are Albanian (as in from Albany, California). Instead, a neighbor friend and her son brought over a platter of "build your own" shrimp taco fixins, which we enjoyed with the wine displayed in another thread. It's what was for dinner!

No mention of alcohol. But I think I can smell it on your breath.

Alas I was driving. Fetched food at midnight. Up at 5a so that my son could make his 7a team bus.

Everyone should celebrate joyful holidays where possible... I mean this month... Mid-autumn festival....Canadian Thanksgiving and Diwali.... I'm not complaining.

In-law prepared tamales (1 rajas, 1 pig) in banana leaf, Mexican rice and refried beans (both prepared by yours truly with sauteed onions, toasted spices) but I did buy the chicharon I added to the beans). And that was what was for dinner.
