Maryland crab soup and Steak Frites for dinner tonight. I normally don't eat this uch food, but it was delicious after a day of walking all over D.C. and seeing the various museums.

Work took me to Kansas City, Kansas this evening and, sadly, all of my favorite BBQ joints were closed by the time I was ready to head home. I stopped by Town Topic Burgers in KC/MO for a double cheeseburger and order of tater tots. Hadn't been there since July, 2015 and it still tasted great. Greasy spoon, but nice to do every so often!

PS - Times Square area seems ok, and I didn't really see any rampant homelessness, open drug use & paraphernalia all over the streets, and not once had I felt at risk of being robbed, beaten, shot at or killed. So, things are improving. |

Went over to the dock in Eureka this AM and picked up a couple of live dungeness crabs right from the boat. Close to 3lbs ea.
They will be served tonight with jumbo artichokes, and homemade crusty bread. |
