A cherry tomato? One? I think that you would be justified in not sharing that with anyone...all yours.
My neighbour is pissed... Last year they tried and ended up with an unsightly mess of a bush with few fruits. Mine is a huge unsightly mess that I will have to account for next year. I need to find those 8' poles... |

LOL, I have about two pounds so far. They're slowly ripening for some reason... Which is good as if they all ripen close to together, I'd be drowning in them. I could freeze them if my freezer had space and then toss them in sauce for pasta, but not enough space...

Maybe you could share a few with your neighbor. It would be a shame to freeze them. Cherry tomates are great for oven roasting and using on pizza or pasta or a tomato tart.
Next year, gotta find some long poles so I can trellis the tomato bushes. The cages I have aren't big enough. |

So kinda took corky's advice. Blistered some of those tomatoes and made a salad... Romaine, some feta, some cucumber and black olives and balsamic drizzle....

Interesting. Mine were kinda tart. But were mellowed a bit by the balsamic vinaigrette. I thought about making a salsa, but after a long day, did not want to try to do too much intricate knifework.
