LOL. I don’t know where I could do that. I think the bag held 16. But after filling three, I had barely made a dent in the fillings. Same with Mrs BV.

Rather hot and steamy day today so I made a blender of frozen margaritas and steak quesadillas from the left over Prime Ribeye grilled on Tuesday with a batch of homemade guacamole. No photos was hot and rather ravenous

Decided to make this a lobster weekend. Tonight the ever decadent Lobster Newberg paired with a 2023 Chablis. On a different note, I can’t get this dish to ever look good with a photo even remotely as good as it tastes- it’s lobster in a rich custard finished with good dry sherry and Kerrygold butter (first picture iPhone, second iPad)

Fried duck confit with mashed potatoes, smoked ham hock, and collard greens.

Paired with a 2023 Sandhi "Rinconada" Pinot Noir.

looks really nice - how was the wine? Was it too young? Decanted?

No decanter, but the bottle was opened an hour before the meal which stretched for another couple of hours. I thought it was just right in terms of aging, but could easily go several more years without any degradation. One of the better Pinots I've ever had.
