Down to $2.99 here this week. But disappointing at 3.99 so why would I bother?

The cherries we're now getting are riper so hopefully that applies as well in your market.

The last batch of Costco cherries were great, 2 pounds for $3.99. Not a bad cherry in the box. From Yakima, WA.

Local Aldi in LA's San Fernando Valley was selling pretty decent Washington State cherries this week for $1.49/lb.

$3.50/lb. for Rainiers at the farmers markets here in Seattle, but they're pretty much the best cherries I've seen all summer.

$2.49 at my local Aldi. I hope these are better than what I’ve had so far this year.

Only one way to find out. At least legally.

Whether they are or not, I have a couple pounds to try. They look nice, but that’s not always indicative.

Meanwhile Ranier cherries at the same store were $6.99.

ETA: Blah. Watery, unsweet. I’m done buying cherries.

Aldi near here has Rainiers for $4.99/lb this week, but I bought some off a street vendor this morning for $3. A couple were trash but they are otherwise in surprisingly good condition (and tasty too).

$2.99 / $4.99 / $6.99 for standard Bings / organic Bings / Ranier at Wegmans in Sterling VA:

Some day the Manhattan Wegman's will finally open.... sigh....
(Summer 2023 has become Fall 2023 which feels like it could be as late as Spring 2024.)

Bought some jumbo local/domestic cherries at my local WM for C$4.33/Kg ($1.97/lb) on Monday. Wife went to pick up more yesterday and it had dropped to C$2.33/Kg or ~C$1.05/lb.

My local Kroger has cherries for 99 cents a pound this week. No idea if they’re any good, yet.
