Last time I tried a 5x5 it got screwed up... :( I ended up with a 4x4 and then a piece of meat and cheese on the side (for some reason they couldn't put it on the bun)... and they forgot to add in my Animal Style request...

In and Out is the only good thing but that F-ing state. I probably only eat fast food 3x a year but when I do its always In and Out on the way to Tahoe.

yes they are a decent burger. i get it on lettuce instead of a bun and they put other fresh veggies. not fine dining , but , it is decent tasting and filling. not too bad in nutritional content. beef is good for us sometimes.

To satisfy my In-N-Out fix Labor Day weekend, I skipped the comp'd breakfast buffet at the Sheraton Cerritos and drove instead to the nearest In-N-Out for a double-double and fries. I get mine with lettuce and light mustard only so I get the full taste of the beef and cheese.

I'm not the biggest fan on in-n-out, but they're definitely a cut above many other fast food bugers. I'm normally a single patty sort of guy, but when hungry I'll get a double meat at in-n-out, and bringing up the meat flavor over the bun/ketchup/LT improves it.

Meanwhile, I was reminded recently of why I don't do that at most fast food places - because doubling the amount of meat generally makes it taste WORSE at other places.

"Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger" at Jack in the Box - ugh. Much improved by removing and throwing away most of the second patty.

I always enjoy my trips to the west coast when I can go to an In -N-Out and avoid the King's offerings and the Mickey menu.

Visited the Tempe In-N-Out yesterday before heading to PHX to fly home.

As usual, it was great! Had my usual double-double animal style :D

Big In-n-Out fan here. But last week had a neopolitan milkshake (layered choc, vanilla, straw), and midway through had a sudden vision of the thick milkshake oozing through my arteries. I think I'll have to take a break from dbl-dbl animal style burgers for a while. Maybe rediscover those so-called "salad" meals every once in a while...

Wimp....come on, gotta love the awesome taste once in a while:D

It's not on the menu but you can ask for a "grilled cheese" at In-N-Out. It's a hamburger without the meat.
