Last week I ate at Bones in Atlanta. I have to admit....I was underwhelmed. The steak was...ok. Perhaps slightly above average. Definitely not as good as others that I have eaten over the years.

However, it is somewhat well known among steak eaters. (Ranked pretty high).

I have only dined at Del Frisco's (Orlando and Vegas), Ruth Chris, and Capital Grille. Out of those three it is really a toss up between Del Frisco's and Capital Grille, but I will give the edge to Del Frisco's.
Though not a chain, I am hoping to dine at Peter Luger's in NYC when I travel there in July.

Actually not a chain at all. Just a local Atlanta restaurant. Therefore, technically would not fit in the parameters of this thread.

"most" italian steakhouse steaks are dressed, seasoned or served with something along the lines of basil, oregano, thyme, etc.. or use sauces or marinades similar to those ingredients

Went to a Morton's in Cleveland last night. Atmosphere and location were great, as was the service and food. I had tuna tacos for an appetizer that were actually a lot of fun and a decent Cajun Ribeye. However, who are they kidding with these prices? The steak was $51. I can get a cheaper steak at Gibson's in Chicago. This was in Cleveland. No wonder there were about 6 people in the restaurant when I left at 6:30.

If you're looking for a good steakhouse the next time you're in Cleveland, I'd recommend either Red, The Steakhouse or XO Prime Steaks.

Ah that's very interesting. My Dad's theory was it was because they made all their money at lunch. We were only at Morton's because when we looked at a Google map of Progressive Field, they were one of the best looking places in walking distance. Sure, the meal was good, but I bet a local place would have been better. I appreciate the suggestions.

My vote would be for Lawry's. I've been to both the Beverly Hills and Las Vegas locations quite a few times now. The food was great at both and there are many cuts to choose from for any appetite. I've always had good service (I love the waitress's outfits too!)
The sides are generous too. My personal favorite would be the creamed corn.
