actually I don’t like cold noodles. It’s a popular Korean dish.
I think I'm also craving it because the weather is starting to turn. Korean food always appeals to me in colder months.

Agreed. I also love it during hot months and “Clement” months. Plus any day that ends in the letter Y. Mega yum.

Me too. Mostly because there is none at all near me. Santa Rosa has a place at 4 hours away. Might as well go to San Francisco at 6 hours where there are actually good options.
One of the things I like most about Bangkok is the large number of truly excellent Korean restaurants there. We used to spend 2-3 months there every winter, and ate Korean at least once a week. Looking forward to doing that again someday.

Yum yum yum, I tried buttery coconut oil on my sweet potato lunch and it delightfully does not taste like coconut.

For dinner tonight, the plan was to try crock potting a whole chicken, but I forgot to take it out of the freezer last night. 😩

Oh, and I think I bean-poisoned myself with that sausage bean fennel sauce I made. They must have not soaked long enough (only 8 hours) - I had terrible intestinal upset for two days. The first and only other time that happened, I soaked for like 4 hours, it was much worse, and I sick slept for a few days. Has only ever happened with the white beans.

Finally went to La Esquina Del Camaron Mexicano and had the most incredible mixed shrimp and octopus cocktail (with extra Valentina).

Stopped at a bodega on the way home; dinner will consist of a salad with turkey and sundried tomatoes.

Made a wonderful bowl of Spaghetti all'Amatriciana using my all-time favorite how-to cooking video. This video is in Italian but very easy to understand. My variation was to use organic cherry tomatoes to make the sauce in addition to the Italian jarred tomatoes.
