Rather typical lunch when carried away



Somewhat anaemic nasi lemak

“ Cjok “ / congee / porridge with pork balls

Crullers , other smaller pieces for the congee not shown

Roast chicken ( chicken rice not shown )

Doing an in-town vacation holiday. Haven’t stayed at a hotel since last year.

JW Marriott. Free Costco member tasting menu. Including juices, soft drinks, beer and wine.

Did I read this right? They are sampling beer and wine? Apparently they can't do that in California Also so far only samples in paper bags here.

This is at a hotel we booked through Costco Travel. They had a special event for the people who booked the property, at the hotel.

The food was more the sampling, smaller versions. The beer and wine were full sized versions.

Back to our Italian favourite to enjoy another meal . Was hoping to “ reprise “ - have some similar from last week ‘ s lunch - but now with a new menu for July . Raviolo does not have foie gras .. , etc
