For you I think a pair of box fresh,titanium-tipped,forged from a re-cycled Rolls-Royce once owned by Joël Robuchon scissors would be the minimum requirement. :D

They also need fuzzy logic to ensure they have cut the bag in exactly the right angle and width for the prevailing humidity and atmospheric pressure. :D

I can't tell you how I feel. I have spent years squeezing the bags and holding the tap down. I never thought of cutting the end and getting it out that way. I always though I was really clever.

Me too.

Do you have to hold the tap open whilst letting it drain? Or do you suck through the slit instead?

Is there any advanced guidance?

Baked Hake with a fresh tomato sauce, crispy potato wedges & buttered asparagus.

You can blow the bag up through the nozzle, then a gentle squeeze with the tap at the bottom gets it all in the glass.

Thanks. I use to hold it under my armpits and squeeze it like a set of bagpipes. This is better.

You cut off the top corner of the bag with scissors and pour all the remaining wine into your glass.

It used to be possible to take out the plug, rinse it out and use it as a water carrier when camping.

Aye...although I thought the idea was more ingenious than me being tight fisted. :p

Even though I say it myself it worked pretty well....if you could get the blasted stopper out. Also used it as a pillow on a couple of occasions. :D

It never occured to me that you were being serious

I guess soon you will be carefully refilling it up with your homebrew Chateau de Caleçon for your bbq visitors.

:D
