So, you have been eating horse meat? Or cigarettes?

Neither.
Quite a lot of foie gras, cheese and a lot of red wine.
And that beer and pastis combo later on in the evening but I really am getting too old for rugby drinking games.
Thank goodness the Soggy Biscuit didn't rear its ugly head.
Had one Cohiba for old time's sake.

On my own for the weekend, so went out to watch the Vols lose to Ole Miss Saturday night. Had a plate of mahi sliders & sauteed vegies. Washed them down with a couple IPA's from Green Bench Brewing out of St. Pete. For dessert, a St Louis Belgian Framboise Lambic.

Sunday, a blackened cod sandwich with fries and a couple bottles of Magic Hat #9.

Other than those 2, every other meal has been breakfast - from scrambled eggs with ham/onion/bell epper to cheerios in milk. And lots of coffee.

Happy Birthday.

I celebrated this week at "Sundance" in Utah. I love the Deli there. Best darn food I have ever had from a Deli. I know, you'd argue some NYC Deli would blow them away, but sample before you claim this. Best Chicken Salad Sandwich on fresh baked bread I have ever had and the Tortilla Soup is nothing short of amazing. If there were a five star award for a Deli, "Sundance Deli" would be up there.

I always get the Chicken Salad Sandwich, Tortilla Soup, Fanta real sugar Orange Soda, then go outside on the porch and enjoy the view of the mountains and the ski slope. Heaven for me. Pure heaven.

Organic pork sausages,bacon,free-range eggs, fried mushrooms from the garden, tomatoes, bubble and squeak, black and white pudding, rye toast.

All to be walked off taking the dog for his long Sunday run across windswept Irish fields.

To be followed by pintage in the pub, Man United V Chelsea on the gogglebox and a full roast lamb dinner with bottles of merlot this evening.

Sundays were made for this.

Lucky sod.

I've been on a strict fat free diet for the last two weeks due to gallstone problems. Low fat this, low fat that and no spicy food, alcohol or coffee is bloody boring. Half the workforce of my digestive system have had to be laid off due to inactivity.

Gorgeous weekend in Chicago. I had to fire up the grill because I might not have another chance before it gets too cold. My hot wings. Yum.

You would have enjoyed it I suspect.Apart from the rather dull footy match on the box.
Today things will be more abstemious, although it is a bank holiday ....:D

Dinner at Amass in Copenhagen on Saturday. Quite novel good food on the whole, but the worst matched wines I have ever, ever come across.

I normally try and eat healthy, but damn those DO look good. And not too "saucy". Since the seed is planted....Now I have to get some wings. However, I'm not flying to BUF just to get them. Well, maybe not.
