Which Cuisine Has the Best Satay?

I love variations of Satay such as those involved in Singaporean, Malaysian, Thai Cuisine. But my favourite Satay are those that are found in the Indonesian Cuisine especially Sate Ayam (Chicken Satay) and Sate Babi (Pork Satay. Sate Kambing (Goat Satay) is also very delicious. So which cuisine in your opinion makes the best Satay?

I really enjoy both Thai and Indonesian satays, but I find that there is more variation in individual preparations, than there is between one country and another.

Lots of cultures have a close version of "satay" even if it's not called such.
My favorite so far, is the simple Japanese "yaki" (ie yakitori) items commonly served at street stands or izakaya. Usually salty, and perfect with guzzling beer.

OMG you just made me hungry, I also love the iced-green bean dessert from one roadside stall near my granny's place in Mangga Besar.

The best chicken rice in my mind is still Fajar but not sure if it exists anymore

My favorite Satay Ayam was at a place I would classify as one step below a street hawker center (i.e., a guy on the roadside with a hibachi grill, a freezer chest and a folding table). It was in the village of Brinchang in the Cameron Highlands. I stopped to try one or two sticks and ended up eating every stick the guy barbecued. Simply amazing stuff when it's cooked right in front of you.
