Which Cuisine Has the Best Satay?
I love variations of Satay such as those involved in Singaporean, Malaysian, Thai Cuisine. But my favourite Satay are those that are found in the Indonesian Cuisine especially Sate Ayam (Chicken Satay) and Sate Babi (Pork Satay. Sate Kambing (Goat Satay) is also very delicious. So which cuisine in your opinion makes the best Satay?

Nothing beats Jakarta street satay, as long as its from Glodok... :D |
I really enjoy both Thai and Indonesian satays, but I find that there is more variation in individual preparations, than there is between one country and another.

Lots of cultures have a close version of "satay" even if it's not called such.
My favorite so far, is the simple Japanese "yaki" (ie yakitori) items commonly served at street stands or izakaya. Usually salty, and perfect with guzzling beer. |
