The general hierarchy:

- Diet coke 70% of the time, although now that I'm trying to cut back on McBreakfast on my morning commute, some of that may be replaced by water
- Iced sugar free vanilla double espresso with 1/2 tsp of half-and-half, if I need something stronger or am headed to a client meeting
- Hotel coffee if I'm having a sit-down breakfast

Depends for me:

- Pop
- Hot Coffee
- Juice (Cranberry, Grapefruit)
- Milk

I never get iced coffee with breakfast but I always get water with my other drink I'm having.

Been fluctuating last couple of weeks between.. Hot Chocolate, cranberry, apple and plain fountain non-carbonated..

Orange Juice or skim milk is my preferred breakfast drink. I don't really like coffee.

Edit to add: not mixed together. I like them as two separate drinks.

That sounds really good. Although now that it is winter here in Minnesota, I would rather have something hot. I will have to try that though. Thanks for the info.

Minnesota? The Wild beat the Flames tonite.. as I'm from Calgary.. Harding shut the door pretty good..

Wed flown through Minneapolis Christmas Break to and from Walt Disney World.. Nice quiet airport with good restaurants.. The snow was piled pretty high when we through..

I was surprised that the airport staff got our plane off the ground..:)

Juice, AJ is my favourite!

While in Italy, I was knocking back espressos all the time. Not so much now at home, but I wouldn't say no to one.

I am ashamed to say that I do not follow hockey and that I do not even know how to skate. I agree that MSP does a very good job with getting planes off the ground in the winter. And last winter was a pretty bad one (or good if your into snow) in regards to the ammount of snow. Maybe the snowiest on record.

To stay on topic, hot chocolate is good in the morning, only in the winter though.

Oolong, plus a stolen sip or two of the wife's coffee.

Oolong is nice.

The Japanese kind or the Chinese kind?

Just want to add that the new mango pineapple juice at McDonalds is quite unique and delicious..

Almost tastes like POG (Pineapple Orange Guava) but with a sweeter taste.. Definitely worth the $1.99 canadian for the large..

Have to say, I'm shocked at the amount of people who gave diet coke at breakfast. Are you guys serious?

trach500 Nov 13, 2011 8:00 pm

Fresh squeezed orange juice or anything else fresh squeezed (watermelon, guava, etc) in the occasional time I do eat out breakfast

I would be shocked too, if I didn't see it for myself so often. Then again, the average person drinks the amount of soda pop in one day that I do in a year....
