Just energy drinks like red bull.. Coffee isn't regulated yet..

Any jurisdictions limit caffeine in coffee?

Yes, it is limited, but to a level far higher than any of the popular energy drinks currently contain (i.e. carry on as normal!) The limit is over twice that of what is contained in a can of Red Bull.

Caffeine in coffee is not affected. Just as well, as someone told me that Tim Horton's coffee is the most highly caffeinated coffee of all the places people get their morning joe! (So maybe the unfathomable addiction. That or they line their cups with coke. One or the other ;)

Oh and you can still buy caffeine pills!

Make mine a double red bull with a couple of pro plus chasers please :)

-You non-brewed coffee drinking mine of useless information!

Seems prejudicial then to limit caffeine in energy drinks..

but it would be almost a cardinal sin for the government to limit caffeine in coke or coffee..

Exactly! Why limit Red Bull but not other drinks with caffeine...

Usually Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has their minds on pretty straight.. usually following the lead of US Food and Drug Administration..

But yeah.. why limit energy drinks, but leave the other drinks which is inundated with even more caffeine?

I would definitely be upset if Red Bull was messed with in the US!

I think it should be pretty obvious. Kids are abusing Red Bull consumption. It is drug abuse plain and simple. Kids aren't chugging double espressos in night clubs or house parties.

Juicing

I love juicing!
When I'm on the go, and I see a place that juices vegetables or fruit, I always stop in.
It's like MY coffee!!!
Or, I do water. Not too much else :)

pvdecastro Oct 28, 2011 6:28 pm

Bloody Mary...

Stefan1234 Oct 28, 2011 6:33 pm

I prefer juice too. Infact fresh juice. But at least a coffee in the morning is a must

Stefan1234 Oct 28, 2011 6:54 pm

Orange or a Water Melon juice is the best in the morning

Health Canada would agree with you..

I don't have an opinion because I've never had the pleasure of drinking the stuff before.. but I have been on Coca-Cola before, and Jolt.. and the caffeine definitely makes me wide awake in my younger years, to put in the necessary all nighters for school and work..

I can attest, that caffeine can become relied on artificially.. caffeine itself in high doses, could have a drug like effect..

higo Oct 28, 2011 11:46 pm

Water or Coca Cola when I need a caffeinne fix .

I don't like the other normal breakfast drinks. Coffee is too strong, chocolate too sweet and orange juice makes me sick. :P
