My local beer haunt has some great specials for American Craft Beer Week. Anything from a craft brewery 30 years or older is only $2. It may be a short list but I'mma gonna track down them all!

To satisfy an old mate, with preference for dark ales with high ABV, I stocked up some Stone Double Ale (11%) in the beer fridge. I'm sure all others invited also will approve

But I would love to have Utica Club, Piel's, Rheingold, Matt's, Schaefer (although this is actually a Stroh's | G. Heileman brand), or Old German (!- the last time I was in Portland, OR., August 2014, Old German, in a 16-oz can, had surplanted Pabst Blue Ribbon as the cheap & sleazy beer to be had in on-premise venues.) here. Yes, really. Although I will have a Hamm's if compelled to.

Harpoon. Visited their brewery in BOS recently and the experience really made me want to buy their products going forward.

I will have an alcoholic beverage tonight for the first time in 30 days. What I have depends on where we go for dinner. If the emphasis is on food, it may be a Woodford manhattan. If we go to a taproom, I'm thinking about a pale ale of some sort, but will be faced with many temptations. If we go out to listen to music after dinner, it will be a Sweetwater IPA or Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin or possibly something I have never had if I hear a tap handle whisper my name.
