Went to Apalachicola for Father's Day. Drank Apalach IPA while Mrs BV drank Lemon Shark Wheat. Had lunch across the street at the Owl Café and accompanied my jambalaya with a Brooklyn Lager. Went home and broke into the six pack of ballast Point Pineapple Sculpin before calling it a night.

There are 9 to 11 breweries/distilleries within a 15-minute bike ride of downtown Ft. Collins. It's great. Obviously, the correct strategy is to start at the furthest brewery (Funkwerks), then bike your way back towards downtown.

Or, have someone drive, as after a few stops, using a bike may be dangerous.

Had a big Hoegaarden in the Gardens of Versailles today with a lemon twist. Nice and relaxing. The beer list was pretty tame though.

I picked up a handful of Norwegian crafts in the international duty-free store in OSL. Given Norway's backwards (IMO) rules on alcohol sales, I was worried I wouldn't be able to take anything home worth drinking. It's also the only duty-free store in an airport that I've encountered that is selling beer. ^^^

Not in my beer fridge, but a very generous friend shared one of his two bottles of Sip of Sunshine IPA yesterday. Quite delicious!
