I Bet Delta's Website Crashes Today 1/5/05
...my prediction is Delta.com will be overloaded today with people wanting to see what this "low fare" stuff is all about.

In fact, I say it is on on the borderline of crashing right now.

I think it crashed already
I've tried to access it a few times in the last few minutes, and it times out every time 'trying to access www.delta.com'.

Wow. . .incredibly slow. You'd think that with the media hype, the Marketing pin heads would have expected this. . .hope it's not a foresight of the third largest airline in the country having a website "crash" due to "overcapacity."

I'm glad that I don't have to purchase tickets online today. The email I received said that it costs an extra $5 to book over the phone. What if you can't access the website?

DL.com okay for me
Was running a little slow for me, but all in all, it worked okay. Bought a return ticket ATL-EWR this morning for this coming weekend at a "deeply discounted" fare class (T, I think) and already confirmed for the upgrade outbound, even got the times I wanted.
